is a top physical comedian and clown who performs and teaches comedy & clowning skills throughout the United States & Puerto Rico, as well as internationally in Canada, Bermuda, Malaysia, China & Mexico. He also produces, directs, writes, performs and emcees for variety, vaudeville, & USO style shows. Angel is a poet and actor who has appeared in several commercials, including Harley-Davidson and Figaro’s Pizza. He has appeared in various local television programs and in a Disney-NBC made-for-television movie, "A Gift to My Daughter," also appeared as a background actor in “GRIMM” and in the movie “Wild.” Angel has entertained the audiences for such top performers as Willie Nelson, James Taylor, John Mayer and Pink Martini. He has performed on stage as the opening act for Wayne Newton and Patrick Lamb. Angel was a 1984 graduate of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College, and shortly thereafter, made promotional appearances for the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. In the summer of 1999, he performed as the featured clown for Culpepper & Merriweather Great Combined Circus. Angel also entertained for a Cirque du Soleil premiere party in Portland, Oregon. In 2003, Angel was selected as the Clowns of America International “Clown of the Year.” Angel is the official Portland Rose Festival’s award-winning “Clown Prince" and is the artistic director and instructor for the Rose Festival Clown, now in its twelfth year.
